Serial Killer Wesley Brownlee
On Tuesday, Wesley Brownlee was arrested in October when he out looking for another potential victim, according to the police at the time. Authorities claimed to have established a connection between him and the murder of six men and the injury of a woman. According to the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office Brownlee was charged with a seventh murder, which had not previously been disclosed before.
The alleged murder victims were Juan Alexander Vasquez, Mervin Harmon, Paul Yaw, and Salvador Debudey Jr, according to the District Attorney’s Office, moreover, he also allegedly attempted to murder Natasha LaTour. However, Vasquez and Harmon were reportedly dead in Alameda County, whereas the other deaths happen in San Joaquin County.
Brownlee’s Arrest
In connection with the deaths of Jonathan Hernandez, Juan Carlos Carranza Cruz, and Lawrence Lopez, Brownlee was charged with four counts of murder, one count of having a handgun in his possession while a criminal, and one count of having ammunition in his possession while a felon.
Stockton Police located Brownlee in the early hours of Oct 15 after a weeks-long lookout for him. Stanley McFadden Stockton Police Chief said in a statement that the investigator “studies his patterns” and found Brownlee while he was “on a mission to for hunt.”.
Officers halted Brownlee at approximately 2 a.m., and he was reportedly wearing dark clothing and a mask around his neck and was armed with a gun. McFadden announce that they were sure they stopped the potential bloodshed. Brownlee is currently scheduled to appear in court on Jan 3, for another arraignment.
