Chicago residents have one-time payments of $500 through the Chicago Resiliency Fund 2.0, a program that provides financial assistance who may have been left out of the COVID-19 stimulus.
The Final Call For New Cash Assistance
Last call for the Chicago residents for the city’s new cash assistance program as the deadline to apply is closing in. The city provides one-time payments of $500 through the Chicago Resiliency Fund 2.0, to help Chicagoans who had difficulty accessing and qualifying for federal relief payments in 2020, including COVID-19 Relief Funds.
Those qualifying residents have until Dec. 31 to fill out their applications, according to the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services.
Two organizations Incharge For The Applications
Residents with adult dependents or those who provide care for adults are the focus of the current round of payment. Moreover, there are two organizations that have been tasked with taking applications: The Chinese Mutual Aid Foundation and The Association House Chicago.
According to NBC repost that residents who qualify must fill out an online application, and winners will be chosen at a random lottery. The winners will have to provide proof of eligibility documents and only one application per household is permitted.
