A murder-suicide incident at a North Carolina law firm on Monday after a client shot dead his lawyer and turned the gun on himself.

A lawyer at the firm Riddle and Brantley are remembered as a hero for giving his life to save others when a client opened fire in the law offices. According to authorities published by New York Post Police are investigating a murder-suicide after an attorney was killed by his client inside his law office then the client turned the gun on himself. The shooting occurred at the Riddle & Brantley legal offices at about 4:15 p.m. on Monday.

News from Yahoo!Sports Investigators said they witness two bodies of a man inside the office, according to local media reports. The victim has been identified as a 42-year-old lawyer named Patrick White, from Raleigh, N.C. Police say the suspected shooter was Francisco Sanchez  46-year-old from Greenville.

Sanchez and his wife, Crystal Guerrero, arrive at the law office around 9:30 a.m. for a mediation, local media reported. Because of attorney-client privilege, information about the mediation was kept disclosed.

The Scenario of the Incident

In the Sanchez and Guerrero case, White was the attorney while Attorney Gene Riddle was assisting with the mediation. Riddle’s account said the mediation progressed throughout the day and all parties agreed by 4 p.m. Furthermore, after Mr. and Mrs. met privately, according to Riddle he saw Sanchez going towards him and heard gunshots.

White tried to stop Sanchez from continued gunfire but was fatally shot in the process. later, Riddle discovered another gunshot and found that Sanchez had shot himself in the head. Goldsboro police and Wayne County deputies were at the law offices the whole Monday night, processing the scene.
