$350 Million Class Action Settlement Against Mobile Network
Phone users were expected to receive a $350 Million Class Action payment after private information was stolen from users. After the cyberattack on August 2021, the number of involved victims is estimated at 76 million.
T-Mobile still has not admitted malpractice, but in July 2022, they approved the settlement. According to the arbitration panel that handles and settle the claims and dispute, a cyber attacker attacked T-Mobile, compromising personal info (Including names, zip codes, addresses, phone number, birthday, driver’s license number, social security numbers, and code for personal unlock) of approximately 76 million U.S. consumers.
As a result of the alleged attacks, numerous lawsuits have been filed and settled. Now, customers can receive cash from the fund. Though, forthcoming buyers have several choices and options: If you were in California on August 1, 2021, you are qualified for an alternative cash payment of $25 or $100.
