Tax Rebate or Stimulus Check: Find Out if Your State Still Owes You
South Carolina is shipping reimbursements by the end of the year, and California won’t be ready until January 2023. As residents in each state deal with ongoing inflation, many are still issuing tax refunds and stimulus checks. Massachusetts just started paying off $3 billion in excess tax revenue in November.
According to a published post by CNET, 14% of a state tax is equivalent to payments from Massachusetts residents’ state tax burden in 2021. Continue to be issued until at least December 15 or so. $800 through the end of the year, residents of California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Hawaii will continue to receive payments thru issued printed checks, debit cards, and direct deposits by South Carolina.
Find out if you qualify and how much you can own. Your state may also send out rebates or incentive checks. For more information on tax credits, see Additional Incentives or Child Tax Credit Eligibility.
