13-Year-Old Stabs Brother After Argument, Runs Away Afterwards
According to Texas authorities, an argument between siblings escalated when the 13-year-old grabbed a kitchen knife. San Antonio Police stated that at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, a 13-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother got into a “foolish argument” in San Antonio.
According to a published post by Forth Worth Star Telegram, police explained in a news release last Thursday, Dec. 15, the girl’s mother took her outside of the home to try and “defuse the situation,”. They followed the girl ran back inside, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her younger brother, and fled the scene. After the incident, the brother was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition.
A Foolish Argument Turned Deadly
Instead of the suspect getting calm, the situation went upside down. The girl then quickly ran back inside the house, grabbed a kitchen knife and then proceeded to stab her brother, officers statements said.
She then immediately ran out of the house to fly away from the scene. The 13-year-old girl, the suspect was taken into the charge of the officials due to stabbing her younger sibling. She is currently booked at the Bexar County Juvenille Detention Center. The suspect is now facing an aggravated assault charge.
