26-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Dead After Being Stabbed and Set on Fire Days After Baby Shower
36 weeks pregnant Fresno, California woman dead after she was fatally stabbed and set on fire in an alley by her brother. The brother is currently in cops custody. Paco Balderrama, the Fresno Police Department Chief of Police identified the woman as N-Kya Rebecca Logan, 26, revealing that she had “been stabbed to death and then set on fire,” said in a news briefing on Wednesday.
According to a published post by People, Balderrama stated that days after she celebrated her baby shower this Sunday, Dec. 11, Logan was 36 weeks pregnant and planned to name her baby son Noah. He said the deaths, of Logan and her unborn child, marked the 57th and 58th murders in the city.

Around 12:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, the Fresno Fire Department and FPD were alerted to a fire in an unpaved alley on the 4400 block of N. Cornelia Street, Balderrama said. He also stated that when they arrived they saw a victim who had been set on fire, completely engulfed in fire.
After gathering “several pieces of evidence,” the authorities arrested her brother, Aaron Jamal Dudley, 41. Balderrama said that he and Logan lived in the same home, adding that the alleged suspect is connected to the physical evidence found at the crime scene.
