There will only be 22 days to claim the $600 Stimulus tax rebate in Idaho.
Deadline of $600 tax rebates in Idaho in 22 days
Idaho Gov. Brad Little, stated in the Idaho Capital Sun, that the Sept. 23, was the first rebate that was issued with most going out by Thanksgiving. Furthermore, according to the Idaho State Tax Commission, the 2022 Special Session Rebate was approved by the Idaho legislature and governor on Sept. 1, and it intends to dampen the financial stresses on those struggling with rising inflation.
The reimbursement is available to all full residents of Idaho in 2020 and 2021 who submitted their income taxes by Dec. 31. The vast majority of the rebates have been sent out already, but more will be sent as more residents qualify by filing their income taxes before the end of the year.
Individual filers can receive up to $300, while couples filing jointly can get a maximum of $600. Payments will be made either via direct deposit or via postal check. According to the Idaho State Tax Commission, by the end of March 2023, 800,000 people will get $500 million.
How do I receive my rebate payments?
Taxpayers who provided valid bank accounts when filing their 2021 tax rebates receive the Stimulus check directly deposited to their bank account. All other taxpayers receive checks at the current address stated on file. This includes taxpayers who used refunded items (such as a rebate anticipation loan) whenever submitting the reimbursement with tax software or a tax preparer.
