FC Cincinnati travels to Fenton, Missouri to take on Saint Louis FC in the first of four road tests that will close out the 2017 regular season.
The Orange and Blue earned three important points last Saturday in their home finale against New York Red Bulls II. Harrison Delbridge scored the game-winner in a six-goal thriller in front of a USL record crowd at Nippert Stadium. That win pushed FC Cincinnati up to sixth in the Eastern Conference. Saint Louis FC currently sits in eleventh place but trails FCC by just five league points.
These teams have met twice this year already, both times in Cincinnati. Alan Koch’s side strolled to victory both times, with a 4-0 victory in April followed by a 2-0 victory in June. Earning a win won’t be as easy on the road, where FC Cincinnati has struggled this season. They still have just two victories away from Nippert in USL play this season.
It’s Central Time in Saint Louis, so make note of the 8:30 pm ET kickoff.
