FC Cincinnati plays its third match in the space of eight days on Saturday when they take on rival Louisville City FC at Nippert Stadium. The Orange and Blue are up to fifth in the table after Wednesday’s draw with the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Kadeem Dacres was sent off in the 75th minute against Tampa and will miss Saturday’s match.

In addition to the graphic above, here are four fast facts to serve as a backdrop for round one of the Dirty River Derby.

  • Undefeated Louisville City FC has allowed only two goals in four games, the lowest total in the Eastern Conference.
  • Cincinnati natives Kyle Smith and Luke Spencer play for the opposition. Smith leads LCFC in both tackles (13) and tackles won (9). Spencer has 2 starts and 1 goal in four overall appearances.
  • Despite being largely contained by Tampa Bay on Wednesday, Djiby Fall still leads the USL in goals, shots, and shots on target, courtesy of his four goal performance against Saint Louis FC.
  • Co-captain Kenney Walker is racking up the stats. He is tied for the team’s lead in assists with 2, but also leads FC Cincinnati in chances created (12), tackles won (18), and crossing accuracy (29%) for players with more than 5 crosses.

Stay tuned to Orange and Blue Press for more coverage of Saturday’s match.
