FC Cincinnati Victorious, Breaks Attendance Record Again

FC Cincinnati earned a critical victory on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Orlando City B at Nippert Stadium. The match was played in front of 24,376 fans and represents the third time this season the Orange and Blue have broken the USL single-game attendance record. The match was also important because Harkes’ men secured third place in the Eastern Conference, guaranteeing a home playoff game. Casey Townsend, who was recently signed by FC Cincinnati to bolster their offensive ranks, scored the game winning goal with an 81st minute header.
